2 Und die Fürsten5633 der Philister6430 gingen daher5674 mit Hunderten3967 und mit Tausenden505; David1732 aber und seine Männer582 gingen hinten nach bei Achis397.

2 And the lords5633 of the Philistines6430 passed5674 on by hundreds,3967 and by thousands:505 but David1732 and his men582 passed5674 on in the rear guard314 with Achish.397

3 Da3117 sprachen559 die Fürsten8269 der Philister6430: Was sollen diese Ebräer? Achis397 sprach559 zu ihnen: Ist4672 nicht das David1732, der Knecht5650 Sauls7586, des Königs4428 Israels3478, der nun bei mir gewesen ist5307 Jahr8141 und6430 Tag3117, und habe nichts3972 an ihm gefunden, seit der Zeit3117 er abgefallen ist, bis her?

3 Then said559 the princes8269 of the Philistines,6430 What4100 do these428 Hebrews5680 here? And Achish397 said559 to the princes8269 of the Philistines,6430 Is not this2088 David,1732 the servant5650 of Saul7586 the king4428 of Israel,3478 which834 has been1961 with me these2088 days,3117 or176 these2088 years,8141 and I have found4672 no3808 fault3972 in him since he fell5307 to me to this2088 day?3117

4 Aber die Fürsten8269 der Philister6430 wurden6485 zornig7107 auf ihn und6430 sprachen559 zu ihm: Laß den7218 Mann376 umkehren7725 und an seinem Ort4725 bleiben, da7725 du ihn hin bestellet hast3381, daß er nicht mit uns hinabziehe zum Streit4421 und unser Widersacher7854 werde7725 im Streit4421. Denn woran könnte er seinem Herrn113 baß Gefallen7521 tun denn an den Köpfen dieser Männer582?

4 And the princes8269 of the Philistines6430 were wroth7107 with him; and the princes8269 of the Philistines6430 said559 to him, Make this fellow376 return,7725 that he may go7725 again7725 to his place4725 which834 you have appointed6485 him, and let him not go3381 down3381 with us to battle,4421 lest3808 in the battle4421 he be an adversary7854 to us: for with which4100 should he reconcile7521 himself to his master?113 should it not be with the heads7218 of these1992 men?582

6 Da3117 rief7121 Achis397 David1732 und sprach559 zu ihm5869: So wahr der HErr3068 lebet, ich halte dich5869 für redlich3477, und dein Ausgang und Eingang mit mir im Heer4264 gefällt2896 mir wohl2896, und habe4672 nichts Arges an dir gespüret, seit der Zeit3117 du zu mir kommen3318 bist, bis935 her935; aber du gefällst den Fürsten5633 nicht7451.

6 Then Achish397 called7121 David,1732 and said559 to him, Surely, as the LORD3068 lives,2416 you have been upright,3477 and your going3318 out and your coming935 in with me in the host4264 is good2896 in my sight:5869 for I have not found4672 evil7451 in you since the day3117 of your coming935 to me to this2088 day:3117 nevertheless the lords5633 favor2896 you not.

7 So kehre nun um7725 und gehe3212 hin mit Frieden7965, auf daß du nicht übel tust6213 vor den Augen5869 der Fürsten5633 der Philister6430.

7 Why now6258 return,7725 and go3212 in peace,7965 that you displease6213 not the lords5633 of the Philistines.6430

8 David1732 aber sprach559 zu Achis397: Was habe ich getan6213, und was hast4672 du gespüret an3117 deinem Knechte5650, seit der Zeit3117 ich vor6440 dir gewesen bin, bis her935, daß ich nicht sollte kommen und streiten3898 wider die Feinde341 meines Herrn113, des Königs4428?

8 And David1732 said559 to Achish,397 But what4100 have I done?6213 and what4100 have you found4672 in your servant5650 so long3117 as I have been1961 with you to this2088 day,3117 that I may not go935 fight3898 against the enemies341 of my lord113 the king?4428

9 Achis397 antwortete6030 und sprach559 zu David1732: Ich weiß3045 wohl2896; denn du gefällst meinen Augen5869, als ein Engel4397 Gottes430. Aber der Philister6430 Fürsten8269 haben gesagt559: Laß ihn nicht mit uns hinauf5927 in Streit4421 ziehen.

9 And Achish397 answered6030 and said559 to David,1732 I know3045 that you are good2896 in my sight,5869 as an angel of God:430 notwithstanding389 the princes8269 of the Philistines6430 have said,559 He shall not go5927 up with us to the battle.4421

10 So mache dich nun morgen1242 frühe auf7925, und die Knechte5650 deines Herrn113, die mit dir kommen sind; und wenn ihr euch morgen1242 frühe aufgemacht habt, daß licht215 ist935, so gehet hin3212.

10 Why now6258 rise7925 up early7925 in the morning1242 with your master's113 servants5650 that are come935 with you: and as soon as you be up early7925 in the morning,1242 and have light,216 depart.3212

11 Also machten sich7925 David1732 und seine Männer582 frühe auf5927, daß sie des Morgens1242 hingingen und wieder7725 in der Philister6430 Land776 kämen. Die Philister6430 aber zogen3212 hinauf gen Jesreel3157.

11 So David1732 and his men582 rose7925 up early7925 to depart3212 in the morning,1242 to return7725 into413 the land776 of the Philistines.6430 And the Philistines6430 went5927 up to Jezreel.3157
